Axis Dance Center, Inc. is a children's and adult's athletic and health program that offers a series of dance programs devoted to the physical, emotional and social development of the human body. We offer many different types of classes for children six months through adult years. The types of classes include Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Crump, Contemporary, Lyrical, Creative Movement, Mommy & Me, and Pilates. The activities are designed to improve balance, coordination and other sensory stimuli while reinforcing good social skills in a group environment. Children and adults, will enjoy dancing while getting to experience a variety of different music and dances. Each week, new material will be introduced and used in conjunction with jazz, contemporary, and classical tunes. Activities such as instrument exploration, songs and movement to music are designed to provide a positive musical and physical experience to be utilized with toddler and preschool classes. The culmination of each season of work will be brought to life in a showcase that will allow the students to display their hard work and talent to the community.

Axis Dance Center will also be the home to the competitive level of dancers known as the ADC Force Competition Team. This group of dancers will receive extensive training not only from the staff at Axis Dance Center, but from highly praised and celebrated choreographers throughout the dance world as guest instructors and attendance of regional and national conventions and competitions. The ADC Force Competition Team will be comprised of dancers enrolled in Axis Dance Center, but auditions will be available to the public. The Company will also perform at local functions within the community and the surrounding areas.

Axis Dance Center, Inc. wants to introduce and improve dance technique and performance in all dance forms. This will be accomplished by strengthening the body's core while improving coordination, balance, alignment, and flexibility. The result will turn out dancers with proper dance technique, and a love of dance and music. The hope is that the full artistic and physical potential of the students will be unleashed.
