*Parents please note that the following dress code is very important for dancers and that we take it very seriously! It not only allows your children to move properly in class, but allows the teacher to see the children's body lines and movement better. Whenever in doubt, just ask your teacher! Violation of the dress code may result in children sitting out of class or not dancing during class.*

ATTENDANCE

Regular attendance is essential to make progress in dance. When a student will not be attending class, please notify the studio by telephone and the instructor via e-mail.

Properly cancelled lessons may be made up in alternative classes. Students who are repeatedly absent will continually struggle to advance.

PLACEMENT
STUDENTS WILL BE PLACED WITH RESPECT TO POTENTIAL AND PROFICIENCY.
Not every dance school curriculum matches the level of technique provided at AXIS DANCE CENTER, Inc. We reserve the right to place students BY ABILITY AND NOT TOTAL NUMBER OF YEARS TAKEN. Students will not be placed in a friends class because of car pools, etc. unless each has the same level of ability. Ballet is the firm foundation of all dance and is essential; BALLET IS REQUIRED FOR COMPETITION STUDENTS.

Recital is mandatory and is at the end of each dance season. It is our annual showcase to allow the students to display their hard work.
